Non-Clinical Services Attestation

Like Dat Youth Connections (“LDYC”) provides non-clinical, non-medical, and non-therapeutic services only. This attestation applies to all LDYC programs, activities, services, volunteers, contractors, and website-based interactions.
Scope of Services
LDYC services may include, but are not limited to:
- Peer support and mentorship
- Workforce readiness and employment preparation
- Life skills development
- Creative, educational, and community-based activities
- Recovery-supportive programming without clinical treatment
LDYC does not provide:
- Medical care
- Mental health treatment
- Therapy or counseling
- Substance use disorder treatment
- Diagnosis, assessment, or clinical case management
Participation in LDYC programs does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or clinician-client relationship.
Not a Substitute for Treatment
LDYC services are not a substitute for licensed treatment, medical care, court-mandated services, or emergency services. Participants requiring clinical or medical support are encouraged to seek assistance from licensed professionals or emergency services.
Funding & Compliance
This attestation is intended to support compliance with county, state, and federal funding requirements, including but not limited to public grants, contracts, and private foundation funding. LDYC reserves the right to modify services as necessary to remain compliant with applicable funding and regulatory standards.
Acknowledgement
By participating in LDYC programs or engaging with LDYC services, individuals acknowledge and understand that services provided are supportive and educational in nature only.
