Chioma brings more than six years of experience as a Parole Officer, where she supported adults navigating reentry, accountability, and major life transitions. In this role, she developed a strong foundation in youth advocacy, case coordination, and trauma-informed support.

In addition to her work in parole, Chioma gained direct experience supporting youth who have been impacted by exploitation, by providing individualized support, and consistent mentorship grounded in safety, trust, and empowerment.

Chioma is deeply passionate about helping young people build confidence, strengthen life skills, and create positive pathways forward.

Through her role as a mentor, Chioma will provide one-on-one and group mentorship, support after-school programming, and help create safe, engaging spaces for youth to learn, connect, and grow. She will also support and collaborate with other mentors, helping strengthen the mentorship team through shared learning, consistency, and mutual support.

Chioma’s combined experience in corrections, recovery-focused education, and trafficking survivor support allows her to meet youth where they are while helping them move toward meaningful, self-directed change.
