For more than three decades, Lori J. Bumgardner has helped nonprofits tell their story, sharpen their vision, and secure the resources they need to strengthen communities. A grant writer, strategist, and long-time nonprofit partner, she specializes in translating ambitious ideas into fundable, values-driven proposals that create measurable impact.
With degrees from UC San Diego and the University of Oregon, Lori has served in leadership roles, including Associate Director of an international research institute at the University of Oregon and Grants Development Manager forLane Community College. She has supported hundreds of organizations—from cultural arts to rural health care to youth empowerment. She is known for her humor, collaborative spirit, and ability to navigate complex challenges with clarity and heart.
When she’s not championing community causes, Lori enjoys cheering on the Oregon Ducks, fostering cats, and hosting family and friends in her part-time home in Puerto Vallarta.
